Founded by Studio Chloé Nègre, Laclaux is a house of furniture where craftsmanship, sustainability and artistic sensibility intertwine.
Imagined as a space where objects hold a memory, a present, and a future, Laclaux opens a dialogue — between perspectives, sensibilities, and shared values.
Rooted in the world shaped by the Studio since 2015, the house was born in 2024. It carries forward a joyful, organic and warm repertoire — offering a collection of furniture, lighting and objects that are elegant, timeless and characterful. Each piece reflects the refined aesthetic of its founder, Chloé Nègre, and the creative precision of interior architect and furniture designer François-Xavier Fonbonnat — driven by a shared ambition to revive excellence in furniture-making.

Chloé Nègre & François-Xavier Fonbonnat
A dialogue of perspectives
Chloé Nègre is a graduate of the École Camondo. She began her journey working on prestigious interior architecture projects in France and abroad. In 2015, she founded her own studio, where she imagines spaces attuned to the people and stories they hold — inspired by a singular path and a design language marked by sensitivity and instinctive craftsmanship.
François-Xavier Fonbonnat is an interior architect and furniture designer, also trained at the École Camondo in interior architecture and environmental design. Over nearly fifteen years, he has honed his eye for materials and detail within leading French agencies. His approach blends precision with poetry — always seeking encounters between nature and the exceptional, between rigor and renewal.

Their alliance grew over time — a conversation between two perspectives, two crafts, and two ways of seeing.
It is this shared vision that gave shape to Laclaux.
